Sessions are developed on a per client basis and are goal based, wellness oriented learning sessions.

These sessions are great for participants of all ages, and are designed to take full advantage our natural environment. Studies have shown that exposure to nature is essential for a childs’ healthy physical and emotional development. Lack of time spent exploring the outdoors has been linked to the rise in obesity, attention disorders and depression in our children. In support of the many back-to-nature / cut down on screen time campaigns that are being developed we offer sessions where clients can come and simply explore the outdoors through guided hikes and activities in our natural setting.  We believe that we all benefit from experiencing the outdoors and draw strength from its beauty.

We have an equestrian focus here at Summersend Equestrian and Wellness, there is always the option to take one of our equine partners along on one of these sessions as well. Clients halter, groom and prepare horses to accompany us during the sessions. Horses remain on lead line, there are no mounted activities during these sessions. The equine partner is there to help ground us on our hikes, and make us more aware of our surroundings. They can be a wonderful addition to a day exploring nature.
